Driving us out

8:20am Monday 23rd April 2012 in park the charges

WELL DONE the Greens for putting up parking costs to an unaffordably high level and driving out all those silly tourists who come to Brighton and Hove to spend money.

Now we will have more space for the squatters and demonstrators who seem to disrupt the lives of everyone else.

I don't think sarcasm will be heeded by this bunch of self righteous, naive, politicians that mistakenly call themselves the Green party, instead of Marxists. I hope that when these well meaning, but totally incompetent single issue councillors, are evicted from power, that the tourists will remember that Brighton can, and should be, tourist friendly, and will return.

having booked a theatre night out before the prices went up for a date after they were put up, I drove around for nearly an hour to find a space for free. pumping out co2 and causing congestion makes you realise how backward the Greens parking policy is, oh and I wont be going to the theatre royal again until it is easier and cheaper to park.
