Extra trains for Diamond Jubilee

Extra train services will run over the Diamond Jubilee public holidays.

Southeastern said it will run a Saturday service on June 4 and 5 rather than the Sunday timetable that would usually run.

A company spokesman said: “We’re running extra trains for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations to provide more travel options for our passengers who will be in London for the festivities.

“Where normally we’d be operating a Sunday timetable on a public holiday, we’ll be running a Saturday service on both days. We’re also running some additional trains on the Monday evening after midnight to help people get home following the concert at Buckingham Palace.”

Stoogecoach are crap at the best of times. They don't even have much of an evening service (unless you live on the 700 route) let alone a proper Sunday service. It's no wonder Worthing's 30 years behind Brighton. The bus service says it all! I might have to do most of my travelling by train. Better save up!
