Man charged with 20 counts of sexual assaults on women
A MAN has been charged with 20 counts of sexual assaults on women.
Constantin Barbutu, 20, of Cromwell Road, Hove, will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on September 14 for the assaults, which date from September 2016 to February.
Police received 24 reports from women saying they have been touched or grabbed, or had sexual gestures made to them by a man on a bicycle.
The majority of incidents happened at night when it was dark.
There were reports from New Church Road in Hove and Madeira Drive.
