THREE men are being hunted after they were disturbed attempting to burgle a house.

The owners of the house in Heath Hill Avenue, Bevendean, Brighton, came back to find the intruders at around 3pm on October 6.

They had got into the property by smashing a window.

A CCTV camera in the house caught one of the men as he strolled around.

When they were disturbed, the trio ran off through the back garden to a waiting vehicle, containing two more men, which then drove off.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said nothing was stolen.

The getaway vehicle is believe to have been a black Seat, with an number plate starting with NV10 or VX10, or similar.

The victims believe the suspects were all white men in their 20s - 30s and all were wearing dark clothing.
