Emergency services were called to the A259 Pevensey Bay Road at Eastbourne, close to its junction with Kingsmere Way at 8.33am on Tuesday.
Firefighters freed one of those involved - a 30-year-old woman from Eastbourne - who sustained slight injuries, for which she was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, an 18-year-old man, and passenger, a 19-year-old woman, both from Eastbourne, were taken to Eastbourne DGH for treatment to minor injuries, and later allowed home.
