A VEHICLE containing a wanted man has been stopped on the A27 with the assistance of police officers with firearms.
Sussex Roads Policing Units detained the man on the A27 at Lewes at around 9am this morning.
In a post on Twitter, officers said the driver was arrested for arson and other offences.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: "A controlled tactical manoeuvre was executed by the ops department of roads policing unit, tactical firearms unit and the dog unit.
"One occupant has been detained and is assisting in the investigation of the offences.
"We would like to thank the members of public for their patience in the stop."
