A CYCLIST was left with minor injuries after his bike was knocked down by a car.
Emergency services were called to Newfield Road, Newhaven, at around 8am to reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said the cyclist received minor injuries to his hand and face.
The driver of the car suffered shock.
