FIREFIGHTERS went to the aid of a motorist after his vehicle overturned on a country road.
Emergency services were called to Lindfield Road, Ardingly, at 7.05am on Wednesday.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew from Haywards Heath to the scene of the accident.
They assisted Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The man managed to get himself out of the vehicle.
He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The vehicle was recovered by 8.27am.
