A DOG lover is calling on people to sign up to help change the lives of people with disabilities.
Ruth Breading from Burgess Hill is a volunteer puppy parent for the dog charity Canine Partners.
The role is to teach puppies the basic skills they need during the first year of their life that will prepare them for further training to become an assistance dog.
This includes taking them on busses and trains, visiting supermarkets, cafes, parks and banks and getting them socialised with other people and animals.
Ruth has now looked after seven puppies for Canine Partners including Gooch, Jupiter, Blake, Yvie, Kingston, Wizal and Fennel.
To apply to be a puppy parent call 08456 580 480 or email info@caninepartners.org.uk.
