A 41-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after gunshots were fired at a house and car. 

Shots were fired at a house in Oaklands, Ardingly, and at the windscreen of parked car in Gowers Close

A door was damaged, but police said no one was hurt.

Marcus Hudson, 41, unemployed of Oaklands, Ardingly, has been charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a loaded shotgun in a public place and criminal damage.

He appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on August 16.
