AN ACCLAIMED Chelsea gold medal winning garden designer is coming to Hassocks.
Juliet Sargeant is also a TV presenter and Judge of Channel 4’s Village of the Year.
She is poised to open her gardening school in Hassocks this spring, delivering an easy way to learn more about your garden at the family-run South Downs Nurseries.
Juliet’s Easy Garden Workshops are a series of relaxed and informative, illustrated guides to making your own perfect garden.
She has teamed up with Sam Matthews, former chef to Pavarotti and The Three Tenors, to create a surprising taster menu and talk.
During the Tasty Garden Talks, Juliet will introduce students to common garden plants that are edible, while Sam serves up delicious tasters to whet the appetite.
Sarah Mead, from the Brighton Road garden centre which is owned and run by the Tates family, said: “Juliet is renowned for her approachable style and wealth of plant knowledge.
“We are looking forward immensely to welcoming the dynamic duo to mid Sussex.”
Bookings are now being taken via the special website which also has lots more details about these special courses: www.sussexgardenschool.com.
