THE world’s most exciting Queen tribute band will lend its own ‘kind of magic’ to the Haywards Heath Proms In The Park this summer.

Reprising Queen’s legendary Greatest Hits – still the UK’s best-selling album of all time – The Bohemians promise to rock the town with their two-hour, electric high-energy show, including a faithful re-staging of Queen’s iconic Wembley ’86 and Live Aid performances.

Anthems such as We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, the breathtaking Bohemian Rhapsody and countless others from a back catalogue that earned Queen its place in the music hall of fame promise to make it one open-air party no one will want to miss.

The tribute band’s appearance on July 12 is another coup for Haywards Heath Summer Music Festival organiser, the charity It’s Magic Events.

Last week it announced that classical music’s ‘Welsh Wonder’, the mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins, would be headlining the annual five-day event.

Also taking to the stage on July 12, will be another irresistibly foot-tapping troupe with an explosive sense of fun – Brass Volcanoes.

Inspired by the sound of New Orleans, this London-based brass band has its own special fusion of Jamaican, Eastern European, swing, Latino, gospel and blues influences – a unique combination that’s been called ‘totally impossible not to enjoy’.

The Summer Festival of Music is staged in Victoria Park, Haywards Heath raising funds for local good causes.

This year, It’s Magic Events is supporting three charities: Woodlands Meed School in Burgess Hill, Kangaroos Fun Disability Clubs, and Sussex Autism Support.
