TAYLOR Wimpey South Thames is giving Mid Sussex people the opportunity to vote for a good cause to receive a £250 donation.

Anyone who visits the Sales Information Centre at the Greenhill Gardens development in Haywards Heath will be offered the chance to place a vote for one of three local groups, charities, schools or fundraising initiatives who they would like to see benefit from the housebuilder’s support.

This will be an ongoing initiative and the local causes in the running for a donation will be rotated every month.

The winner of the first round of voting will be announced at the end of April.

The three causes nominated this month are Kangaroos, Haywards Heath Rotary Club and St Peter and St James Hospice.

Kangaroos is a registered charity based in Haywards Heath which provides a range of fun, inclusive year round clubs and trips out for young people with learning disabilities in Mid Sussex.

Haywards Heath Rotary Club supports good causes both locally and further afield and encourages friendships and fellowship within the local community.

St Peter and St James Hospice cares for patients from Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Lewes, Uckfield and the surrounding villages.

Susan Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: “We are committed to giving something back to the local communities in which we build our new homes but are conscious that people aren’t always aware that funding from Taylor Wimpey might be available to them.

“We hope that both local residents and home hunters will really get behind this new charitable initiative and visit the Sales Information Centre at our Greenhill Gardens development to tell us which good cause they think is most deserving.”
