Firefighters were sent to Ostlers View, Billingshurst
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a kitchen fire.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze in Ostlers View, Billingshurst, at 5.50pm on Tuesday.
A single crew from Billingshurst fire station attended but the fire was out on arrival.
However a woman was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, by South East Coast Ambulance Service suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
It is unknown how much damage was caused and it is believed the fire was accidental.
