THE FIANCEE of one of the Shoreham Airshow disaster victims has been charged with dealing drugs.
Giovanna Chirico – who was engaged to Mark Trussler - was arrested by Sussex Police and is now due to appear in court charged with possession with intent to supply amphetamines.
After being charged with the offence, mother of four Giovanna posted a picture of Mark on Facebook saying; “I miss u so much today I need u more than ever.”
Her arrest is understood to follow a four month investigation by the force.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Giovanna Chirico, 34, of Barton Close, Worthing has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – Amphetamine. She will appear at Worthing Magistrates on February 7.”
Giovana has daughters Mia, Sophia, and Alicia, with Worthing window cleaner Mark and a son, Luke, from a previous relationship who Mark "loved as his own”.
She on the anniversary of the tragedy she told The Argus: “People say with time it gets easier, but it doesn't.
"I'm here on my own with four kids.”
