A MIDDLE-AGED woman has been found guilty of stalking her daughter’s former boyfriend.
Julie Kellett, 53, Church Mead, Steyning, sent numerous postcards and text messages, including some of a sexual nature, to Elliot Box, 22.
He started receiving two to three postcards a week from February 2015.
He later began to receive text messages, calls from a withheld number that would hang up and cards with cash in them.
He called police when postcards from her arrived at his new address.
Kellett admitted stalking at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on January 31 and was sentenced to complete 130 hours of unpaid work and issued a restraining order banning her from contacting Mr Box.
Kellett, who worked at the Halifax, used her position to track his address. She has now been sacked.
