A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a pub was robbed at gunpoint.
Police were called to The Swan in Horsham Road, Crawley, yesterday after the robbery, and are now seeking witnesses.
At around 1.10pm the man went in to the pub making threats to bar staff and demanding money from the till.
He threatened staff with a gun while asking for cash.
The man managed to run off with some money but was caught by police near the pub within half an hour.
He was arrested on suspicion of robbery, and remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Jon Robeson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who saw a man running away from the pub shortly after 1.10pm on Thursday.”
