TWO men have been arrested after an incident at a flat.
Officers were called to Chapel Road, Worthing, following a call expressing concern for the occupants.
The caller was trying to gain entry to the flat when officers arrived at the scene at 10.39am on Friday.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Due to concerns for the safety of the occupants, police forced entry and arrested a 25-year-old man from Worthing on suspicion of false imprisonment."
Shortly after the first arrest, a 63-year-old man from Lancing was arrested on suspicion of common assault.
Both were in custody on Friday afternoon.
