CHAT show king Sir Michael Parkinson will talk about his life in showbusiness at an event next month.

The Yorkshireman will be appearing at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing on October 10.

He will be in conversation with his son Mike as they trawl through the family archives.

They will talk about his journey from a pit village in Yorkshire to the top of the famous stairs which made him a Saturday fixture on BBC for many decades.

An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson celebrates the life and career of a man who has interviewed more than 2,000 of the most important cultural figures of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Tickets cost £26.50 from worthingtheatres.co.uk/an-evening-with-sir-michael-parkinson
