CHARTERED accountants, tax and business advisers MHA Carpenter Box won Business of the Year at the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards 2018.

The category relates to larger businesses with turnovers in excess of £1million.

The firm was presented with the award, which was sponsored by NatWest, by comedian Brian Conley in front of an audience of more than 600 at the Effingham Park Copthorne Hotel, Gatwick.

The judges were particularly keen to note the significant year-on-year growth of MHA Carpenter Box.

They highlighted how they go above and beyond when it comes to serving their customers, through their expert knowledge, and consistently look for new and innovative ways to add value to their clients; in the judges’ words: “They are truly passionate about your business.”

The judges were also impressed by the incredible amount of work that the firm does for the community and the fact that it has raised thousands of pounds to help local good causes.

MHA Carpenter Box was founded in 1924 and has offices in Brighton, Gatwick, Crawley, Chichester, Portsmouth and London.

The firm supports businesses across a number of sectors including professional practices, property and construction, manufacturing, not for profit, healthcare, motor trade, travel and retail.

It won Professional Services Firm of the Year at the 2015 Gatwick Diamond Business Awards.
