Emergency services at the A27 crash scene
A PEDESTRIAN was killed in a car crash last night.
The man was hit by a Kia travelling west on the A27 near the Tangmere roundabout, close to Chichester, at 8pm.
He died at the scene.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Sergeant Neil Cox, of Sussex Police, said: "We are appealing for witnesses to this tragic incident. If anyone saw the collision or has any information please contact us."
Anyone who saw the crash or may have information about it should call the force on 101 quoting Operation Tatton.
The man's age has not yet been disclosed.
