This ghostly image was sent in by one of our readers after it was taken in a graveyard.

Mike James, of Horsham, sent the picture via email after he took it on Saturday evening.

He wrote: "It appears to show a ghostly man riding a horse.

"The place to look is by the horizontal tomb and in front of the large stained church window, slightly to the right."

Unfortunately, Mr James did not mention where the ghostly goings-on happened so today we are asking readers to help us track down the ghoul and find out where this spectre is situated.

Do you know of any other spooky places across Sussex? Or have you taken any similar pictures? Email richard.gurner@theargus.co.uk or leave your comments below.

I once saw a witch, answering to the name of Ann - dancing round a cauldron casting spells on Brighton & Hove Albion - that was rather spooky.

It appears to show that you need to clean your lens Mike. I challenge anyone to show me some decent evidence of ghosts as there is currently nothing more than speculation from (usually) very odd people.

I did try my best to get in touch with Mr James but couldn't get through before deadline.
He has been back in touch today and I am pleased to tell everyone the church yard in question is in Westham near Pevensey Castle.
It sends a chill down my spine just thinking about it!!

with my understanding in this subject you don’t get the chance to ask them manifesting and compose for a photograph therefore it’s often the one you dismiss that are outstanding evidence.
