A BUSY road junction will be changed in the coming year.
Councillor Gill Mitchell, Brighton and Hove City Council transport committee chairwoman, said the Elm Grove junction with Lewes Road in Brighton would be upgraded in 2017-18.
It follows a campaign with a petition of 360 signatures to improve the “road crash hotspot” after a crash between a cyclist and a lorry last year.
Campaigner Dani Ahrens had proposed creating a two-way cycle track on the western side of Lewes Road but a moderate tweaking of the junction is more likely.
