The Argus will have reporters at all 16 Sussex count tonight.

We will be reporting throughout the night with a live blog keeping our readers up to date with the results both locally and nationally.

Coverage will start just before 10pm.

Here is how the night is expected to play out:

10pm: The result of a joint BBC, ITV and Sky exit poll released as polling stations close.

11pm/12am: Counting expected to start across the county. First results from around the country expected after midnight.

3am: The first Sussex results are expected to come in, including Bexhill and Battle and Crawley.

4am: Worthing West, East Worthing and Shoreham, Hastings and Rye, Mid Sussex and Wealden are expected to make declarations.

5am: Bognor Regis and Littlehampton and the first of the Brighton and Hove results expected.

6am: Brighton Pavilion expected to be one of the last results.

Midday: The final seats should be declared – Berwick-upon-Tweed, Blyth Valley and Wansbeck.
