A punch in the face to the first person who says, on seeing the snow, 'what happened to global warming'.

I hate to be a pedant - but "forecasted" and "showers was last night predicted"....

Did anyone read this before it was posted?

We all know what happened to global warming - it never existed then and it doesn't exist now.
Just a way of raising taxes and trying to make people feel good about it cos they were "helping the planet maaaan"

If it does snow, then I expect the buses will not be running again! Still, with a potential strike looming, I suppose we may as well get used to it.

Speaking of which, has the Argus pulled the story/comments on the possible strike by bus drivers?

If so...why?

I'm dreading the snow. I got cut off last time, gritters didn't even get the main roads moving and all buses ground to a halt.

I've stocked up on dried food just in case I can't get out again. Strangely, this was never a problem in the 1970s when the snow was a lot more frequent and deeper than these days. I never got stranded once back then compared to not being able to get out for 8 days in April.

Why, are you a man made global warming freak? Furthermore, I would put money on a true sceptic to lay you out.

I am worried by the headline.
"Sussex prepares for weekend of snow"?
Given past performances by Sussex authorities (and I include those out of the Brighton & Hove area), I somehow doubt it
