B&Q is urgently recalling two remote control plug sets because of a potential fire risk.
The retailer said a small number of the sets, on sale between September 2014 and November this year, had shown excessive heat build-up inside the plug, which could cause items in contact with them to ignite.
The products are the Remote Control On/Off Set Twin Set with the barcode number 5052931395033 and the Remote Control On/Off Triple Set carrying the barcode number 4895130705675.
A label on the back of the plugs carries the name EverFlourish.
B&Q said: "There is a potential fire risk so if you, or someone you know, has bought one of these products, stop using it and take the following steps immediately: switch it off at the wall, remove the plug and return it to your local B&Q store where we will fully refund you and answer any further questions you may have.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."
