What do women really want? That’s the question posed in The Wife, an outdoor play being staged by the Rude Mechanical Theatre Company at Sussex Prairie Gardens.
It’s based on Chaucer’s Wife of Bath and digs deep into the nature of love and human relationships.
Funny and poetic, the outdoor performance with original live music is performed by the company of professional physical theatre actors and actor-musicians trained in mime, clown or commedia.
The Wife is at the Prairie Gardens, Morlands Farm on Wheatsheaf Road, near Henfield, at 5.30pm until sundown on Sunday August 10. For tickets and more details, visit sussexprairies.co.uk
