TODAY’S photographs all date from the mid 1950s, with the main image showing Miss Brighton driving a miniature bus.
Goodness knows what she was doing. Perhaps it was some sort of publicity stunt.
Whatever it was, she certainly raised a smile and even caught the attention of the police.
The caption states that the photo was taken in Brighton but we can’t see any clues as to where it is.
There must have been some event going on because, if you look at the second image, you can see a military band marching past.
We love the photo under-neath.
It shows three ladies playing darts in a pub.
They look like real characters with their curly hair.
Some of our readers must recognise them.
There is no caption on the back so we don’t know which pub it is in either.
Get in touch if you know.
