TODAY we have a look at some top music stars in their heyday who have been making comebacks.

Bananarama are the latest Eighties act to announce they are back doing the rounds.

The original line-up of Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward have reunited, much to their fans’ delight.

They were the biggest girl band of the 80s, scoring hits including Venus, Shy Boy and Love In The First Degree.

Although they scored 10 top 10 hits, the trio never toured before Fahey quit to form Shakespears Sister in 1988.

The split was acrimonious, but the members recently reconciled and have announced a 15-date UK tour for winter.

Speaking about their reconciliation, Fahey said: “I was really touched because it wasn’t for any other reason than we love each other and really loved what we did.

“These were my formative years. I never thought it would happen again.”

The band’s website crashed shortly after the tour was announced on Monday morning.

Bucks Fizz are probably best known for their appearance in Eurovision around the time they were pictured by The Argus in Sussex.

In 2015 they announced a return but after a bitter legal battle over the band’s name, they couldn’t actually call themselves Bucks Fizz – and the Bobby of the group was no longer Bobby G but lookalike Bobby McVay.

The foursome were going by “Cheryl, Mike and Jay, formerly of Bucks Fizz, with special guest Bobby McVay”.

But now they are called Formerly of Bucks Fizz and will appear in Eastbourne on August 19.

The legal battle – which caused the four original members to fall out – meant the Bucks Fizz name was officially owned by Bobby G’s wife Heidi Manton, and the couple keept touring with their version of the group.

Did you see them when they came to Sussex in their younger days? Was it at the Brighton Centre?

And what about Bros? Brothers Matt and Luke Goss have reformed but without original bassist Craig Logan.

But yes, finally, after decades of unanswered Brosette prayers, Bros have reunited. They announced shows at the O2 Arena in London in August, 28 years to the day after their final show at Wembley Stadium in 1989.

Did you see them when they used to attach bottle tops to their shoes?

Did you rip your baggy stone wash jeans and turn them up at the bottom so you would look like the chiselled brothers?

Or maybe you saw Phil Collins or Roger Daltrey on a visit to Brighton?
