Easter - a time of the year where we all come together to celebrate new life. Easter originates from the Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, to forgive us of our sins and to celebrate new life. However, the event is widely recognised by many people, not just Christians. It is often celebrated with events, chocolate and symbols of new life including rabbits, eggs and chicks.

This year, 'Worthing Easter Eggstravaganza' was held on the bank holiday Monday (April 2nd from 10am until 5pm) at Bath Place and Montague Street. There was plenty of activity at the event, for all of the family. From food stalls and a town Easter egg hunt to a small animal petting zoo and Dave Hunt's funfair, this free event had quite a large turnout. There was even a farmer's market at the town centre... What a great way to celebrate Easter with the whole family - for free!
