The head teacher and chair of governors at Hove Park School have made abundantly clear their support for conversion to an academy facility.

The school has employed consultants and paid for material highlighting perceived benefits to gain backing for this new move.

However, the school's ‘consultation process’ has not even tried to fund any type of counter- view.

It has been left to concerned parents to organise their own voice.

The consultation process is clearly one-sided and without merit, and any decision made in its light risks being the wrong one.
