I would like to reply to the letter from Penny Hajduk that a 20mph limit is needed in relation to flats and houses at Preston Barracks for students.
I agree with everything that this lady is saying.
There are so, so many places now for students but where can families live?
As the lady states in her letter: shame on you Brighton planning department for letting housing opportunities go to students and not working families.
My son and daughter-in-law cannot get anywhere to rent in Brighton and if they could they could not afford it.
They are a young working family with one little girl and because my son has a good job they get no help from anyone.
They would be only too pleased to be able to be considered for housing but have always been told NO WAY as my son is and always has worked for a living.
But students they must come first. Shame on you Planning.
