Regarding the crop circle near the Long Man of Wilmington, pictured, (The Argus July 15), the dead giveaway as usual is the tractor tracks leading to the circle.

Whoever made it either walked along these tracks or drove a tractor very carefully along them.

It would be really good to see a crop circle without tracks leading to it, in which case the only way to reach the site would be by parachute or hang glider.

A helicopter of course would flatten the crop area.

There’s food for thought for you intrepid crop circle makers. I await the next one.
