Well done to the council once again, Ship Street closed and the only way to the Hotel Du Vin is up Middle Street from the seafront and round onto Ship Street.
Why couldn’t it have waited until the winter months.
Also the Vogue Gyratory road works have just started. Edward Street and Queens Road by the station have new traffic signals. It is an accident waiting to happen with traffic coming at you from three directions.
At Churchill Square, where have the traffic marshalls disappeared to? Today was utter chaos, with queueing behind 10 buses waiting to enter.
The whole town is one big roadwork. Good luck to any visitors trying to negotiate the roadworks and the dirt. It appears no thought has gone into planning these disruptions.
Hurry up May 2015 and then perhaps we can reverse some of these awful new traffic routes.
