Can I please ask? As the council seem to have no intention of doing anything to the King’s Road where the ground is unstable at the bottom of West Street can they turn off the traffic lights so the traffic runs freely?
The traffic that is heading West cannot turn right up West Street so what is the point of stopping?
And the traffic that is heading East and wants to turn up West Street. Surely they can rig up a light to stop the flow that way when the pedestrians want to cross.
And with the other pedestrian crossing nearby they could close it so pedestrians have to use the underpass. This will be safer for the pedestrians.
And then we can sit back and wait and wait. Oh how long has it taken for the West Pier to fall into the sea?
