I read your article regarding the removal of bike sheds from front gardens with interest.
This is not the first time this has happened. Towards the end of 2012 we were asked to remove our bike shed from the front of our house in Herbert Road despite the huge numbers of other sheds in the area being allowed to remain.
We did not want to see the same thing happen to others so decided not to pursue the matter.
What I find particularly interesting about the article is the surprise that Ms Lucas appears to express about this issue. Many of the points raised in your article were put to Ms Lucas at the time of our clash with the council.
What was disappointing at the time was that we never received follow up from Ms Lucas or her staff despite this being a green issue.
