So here we go again – the Cityclean employees are going on strike caused by the total inability of the Greens to run a City.

They, the Greens, or should I say Ian Davey (Transport) are happy, in my opinion, to waste our money on road schemes which just add to the problems of the City.

Can you name where the improvements have been successful?

Seven Dials – No – as a cyclist why didn’t they build Dutch style cycle lanes for us to travel around the corners safely.

Lewes Road – Tailbacks for up to a mile either side. Vogue Gyratory – Another bottleneck in the making.

Edward Street – Millions spent to allow eight buses an hour free passage (let’s not forget this bus company is privately owned and there are hungry shareholders to feed).

Brighton Station – It’s beyond belief the total incompetence of the scheme causing total gridlock (ask any taxi driver).

They can’t even agree on a park and ride.

But it’s not only the Greens we need to look at.

None of the other political parties have done a thing to halt this irresponsible and reckless management of Brighton and Hove We are the the people who pay these councillors their wages and frankly it has to stop.

I for one want all the political parties removed from this City and professionals moved in.
