I never thought that Brighton would ever abolish the right to free speech.
If something upsets you in a public place, we have a right to complain – unless you are complaining about any lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender behaviour in Brighton!
If a mum deems two girls kissing in a public place is offensive to her and her child, then she surely has a right to complain – without being branded homophobic.
The right to express your feelings has been the corner stone of the gay community but I didn't realise it was exclusive to them.
I was not surprised to see the greens there either, trying desperately to win popularity stakes.
