It was unsurprising to read in the Argus recently how many targets the Green council has missed.

Once hopeful of winning several seats across the UK, the Green Party is now throwing everything at a desperate attempt to hold on to the only MP they have in Caroline Lucas.

With their council administration having failed on measures like recycling, air pollution, education and more, and with them struggling to find candidates to stand for election to the council in May, they are increasingly reliant on big money donations and members bussed in from Oxford and Norwich to campaign.

It is ironic that the Greens of all parties, starved of activists and collapsing at a local level, should rely on their national HQ and big business donations to try and beat a local activist-led campaign on local issues by Labour.
