May I thank the kind and generous people of Hove, Portslade and surrounding areas when in December the Hove Salvation Army Band played Christmas carols.
I thank the many people who sang along and dropped money into the buckets.
More than £1,600 was collected.
This will enable us to continue to offer practical support throughout the year to some of the most vulnerable in our community.
Weekly we support people claiming benefits, applying for jobs, filling in forms and who want to be reunited with family members.
We offer support in working out a workable budget, and provide food parcels and sleeping bags to those who have very little.
