(March 2) did not have a lot of advertising, but the stalls were at least two thirds full.
What a show it turned out to be, more like the old Tuesday at the Dome which ran for a good many years with Douglas Reeve.
This time it was John Mann who gave a magnificent assortment of music to suit all tastes, both on the organ and his own electric piano. Then there was Jonathan playing his accordion, again what talent.
The second half was devoted to Andre Rieu and his selection of Johann Strauss and waltzes. Finally tunes from the Great War years saw the audience join in.
What a pity we do not have more of these concerts on this lovely organ.
