It is good to read that so many organisations are becoming involved with proposals for improvements for the seafront (Argus, April 8).
It would be a good idea to involve local amenity societies as well. Many of them have been concerned about the seafront for decades.
There are three umbrella societies covering large areas of the city and smaller societies concerned with specific areas of the seafront.
Co-operation now would be more productive than confrontation at a later date.
