I AM sure the introduction of the PayByPhone system will make an already difficult process even more challenging.
Some areas of Brighton and Hove suffer from fairly poor mobile signals, and in my experience it can take some time to activate the system.
But more importantly, when purchasing a product or service with a credit card, it is normally the provider or trader that pays the service fee, not the end user.
Will this open the flood gates for traders adding the credit card charge next time that you pay by card?
I would be interested in the legality of this system.
