I AM sick and tired of reading about parents whinging that they get fined for taking their children out of school during term time.
I refer in particular to the support given by Tom Bewick.
Let’s face it, All these parents want is to save a few quid on their holiday with no consideration on what is best for the child.
They are prepared to sacrifice their children’s future for their own material gain.
And what of the poor tax-paying non-parents who pay for these children’s education?
Should they not have a say on how their money is spent, or more correctly squandered, by this minority?
Neither of my two children have ever had their education put a risk just to save a few pounds, and they never will.
