Sorry I didn’t post last week – there was an unfortunate train incident that left me stuck at Balham on a hot train for far longer than I had wanted or expected… Anyway, enough excuses!

I want to start by telling you, not about a night out as such (although his did happen a Stone Love at Digital – a night I would definitely look out for again as music wise the best club night I have had in Brighton - I am sorry but I am just not that into drum and base or hard house, maybe I am just not hip enough!) but about a great game to play while you’re out. After reading in the news about the Lying Down Game – a craze that’s sweeping the internet we thought we’d give it a go... It’s a simple game – you lie down take as many pictures as you can, the stranger the better. Sounds immature doesn’t it? And maybe it is a little – but it is so much fun and not harming anyone so I am putting it to you to let your inner child out tonight and try it out. By the third location, you’ll realise how fun it is. If all else fails you get a lot of attention and so could potentially be a great way to pull!

This weekend I am off to another festival – quite a bit smaller and cheaper than Glastonbury. The Square festival – a bargain at £45 for a 4-day weekend (including camping!) I went to Square festival last year and the majority of the bands were local, unsigned bands that I hadn’t heard of, it was still great as the location meant it was only a five minute walk to drift between the beach to relax in the sun and the festival to catch the music. This year however, we will be entertained by Supergrass, the Holloways and Let’s Tea Party. I hope that despite having some famous names, the festival will keep all the benefits of being small where it’s quaint, easy to get around and find each other – oh and I hope that the gods will be good to me a second time and not let it rain!
