It’s all to easy to let Sunday night slide past you as you prepare the another week of working and admit that the weekend is coming to an end.

But tonight I am going to have an evening of seeing live country and rock as I am going to see the Porchlight Smokers at the Neptune, one of my favourite bars. This made me wonder how much is going on on Sunday nights.

There’s loads of live music around - you can go to the Great Eastern for some Sunday blues with Jez Tonkin, chill out with some live jazz at the White Rabbit. Head over to the Prince Albert for a line up of The Morning Orchestra, The Ryan and O'Reilly Band and more. While I haven’t heard of many of the artists – it is often gigs like these that you are pleasantly surprised to find some great new music. Or why not take a chance and head for Belushi’s bar or the Hydrant for some open mic nights. But if you prefer movies - you can go to film nights at Hectors House or Komedia Studio.

This is only a small snapshot of what I found - there’s something for everyone so don’t let your weekend end with a Sunday roast, get out there and make the most of your whole weekend!
