And although the sun keeps going in the clouds and the wind seeming to be picking up, I can feel it is going to be a good one - as for many people it is also pay day!

I am lucky to have a really sociable work place and the start of a bank holiday combined with payday is the perfect excuse for a big old knees up. We are a really hard working bunch and like with many jobs, our work often gets more stressful towards the end of the month. So then there’s in nothing like ending the month with you all all letting your hair down together, all knowing you understand the stress you’ve all been going through.

The only thing with groups like these is where do you go, who do you please? I find that usually a crawl is the best bet but be careful not to set too much of a plan. Don’t you hate it when in big groups you finish your drink and are told not to get another as you’ll be moving on soon, only to turn around 30 minutes later to see part of the group unaware, giggling and returning from the bar, drinks in hand and you know you’re not going anywhere soon!!

So tonight, we’re painting the town red, starting in Worthing (with the pub still to be defined) then heading down to Brighton for maybe a bit of a crawl. But if we find we’re content in a pub, or a miracle happens and we secure a table (!!) we’ll stay put.

Inevitably from 11pm people will start peeling off and filtering off home but for the rest of us, it is a non controversial night at digital for the indie disco that is stone love, where drinks are cheap and music is fairly mainstream. And if you want to save a few bob, get in quick and sign your name on their FB wall and be added to their guest list: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5126639203&ref=ts

You see your collegues day in, day out so take the leap and get to know them out of work too. If nothing else, it will create lots of office gossip to come back to and making the start of next week less gloomy!
