A long run, but a short report today. 9 miles. 1 hour 24 minutes 30. About a minute slower than the last time I did this distance. Sun all shiny, sea all sparkly, prom a bit quieter than last weekend I think. Had I not had that last vodka last night, I think I could probably have done it a bit quicker. As it is, the trend at the moment seems to be that I'm slower now than I was when I did the first run-through of the training programme. I'm not too worried, though. After today I'm feeling much more confident about managing the half marathon in a few weeks. I'm trying not to think about the full one just yet!
Now, if my new neighbour will only shut the f up - how many holes can you possibly need to drill in the same wall, how deep do they really need to be and do you really need to drill them on a Sunday, it's been weeks, just bloody finish - I fancy a nap.
