What's the point of the rat race?

There must be more to life than a job you hate.

In the morning do you wake up dreading the thought of going to work in the next hour?

On Monday I went to London and I saw many people rushing about. It made me think ... If I asked a hundred people if they liked their job, how many people would say they do?

Why do so many people have jobs that they don’t seem to like?

I know money is an important thing in life but personally I would rather have a job that I am passionate about and love even if I earn less money.

Of course we all have to do things we don’t like (that’s life), but it shouldn’t be every working day!

Normally you spend more time at work than home so why have a job you don’t enjoy?

If everyone decided to do a job they enjoy maybe we would be a happier society, although maybe there would be jobs that need to be done with no one doing them.

I guess with many people losing their jobs in the current economic climate some people are just grateful to have a job at all.

When I’m older I’m not to sure what job I want to do but I know I want to go to college in three years when I’m 16 and then university to do a degree in marketing and art/design.

I will be happy to do a job I don’t really enjoy for a few years in order to progress my career.

However, ultimately I want a job I’m passionate about and can inspire others with.
