JONATHAN LEWIS’S body was found in the river Arun back in 1980 – yet nobody has been brought to justice.

Colin Wallace was jailed for six years for manslaughter only to have his conviction quashed in 1996.

He has always pleaded his innocence and continues to.

That begs the question, what did happen to Mr Lewis and who is responsible for the antique dealer’s death?

Thirty five years have passed since his body was discovered – and it is time for a fresh investigation.

In this day and age of top technology, forensics and policing, it is unbelievable that a murder can go unsolved.

It is not fair on Mr Lewis’s family, his friends or indeed Mr Wallace.

He more than anyone else has to know who killed his friend.

Mr Wallace believes the ongoing inquiry into the Kincora boys’ home abuse may provide a few answers regarding the death.

It would be easy for the authorities to forget the Lewis case and move on – especially given their current workload and dwindling resources.

But now is the time for action and the time to discover who killed Jonathan Lewis.
